Terms of use

StayRequest is an intermediary and marketing platform for places to stay. We are not a travel agency, we do not sell accommodation on our own account and we do not put together package travel.

The accommodation contract is made directly between you and the place to stay. We provide the tool you use to send the request, receive offers and confirm the booking.

You need an account to send a request. You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate details.

Keep your password safe. If you think someone else has accessed your account, change your password from your Profile and let us know.

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile.

With each request you pick up to 5 places to stay and set the destination, dates, guests, budget and, if you like, notes. The places you picked see these details and your name.

Only send a request when you really intend to travel. Fake or bulk requests may lead to your account being suspended.

A request expires once the arrival date has passed or when you cancel it.

Each offer is written by the place to stay itself, which is responsible for the price, availability, room description and cancellation policy.

When you accept an offer, the booking is confirmed at once and you receive a confirmation code and the place's contact details. The place receives your name, email and, if you gave it, your phone number.

If the offer is refundable, you can cancel for free until the date it shows. After that, the place's own policy applies.

StayRequest is free for travellers. We never ask for your card and we never collect the money for the stay.

You pay the place to stay directly, according to its own policy: usually on arrival or with a deposit it asks you for.

Places to stay pay us a commission for each stay completed through the platform. The commission is not added to the price you see.

Places to stay can also pay for Promotion so they appear first in a destination's results. These spots are always labelled «Promoted» and do not affect the content of the offers.

You may not use the platform for unlawful purposes, pretend to be someone else, collect data automatically or interfere with how it works.

We do our best to keep the platform working correctly and without interruptions, but we cannot always guarantee it.

The place to stay is responsible for the stay. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

If we make material changes to these terms, we will tell you before they take effect.

These terms are governed by Greek law. For any dispute you may also contact the Greek Consumer Ombudsman.
